About the Event

We are pleased to launch our first-ever Knowledge Circle seires, dedicated to exploring themes of healing, wellness, and balanced living through the wisdom of celebrated Muslim scholars and authors.

We are especially honoured to have Dr. Asadullah, a respected University of Regina professor, leading these discussions.

In addition, we are excited to be collaborating with the Sudanese Students Society on Knowledge Circle #2, revolving around Dr. Malik Badri, a Sudanese psychologist who pioneered integrating Islamic concepts into psychology.

About the Author

Dr. Malik Badri, often called the "father of Islamic psychology", was a Sudanese scholar and psychologist who pioneered the integration of Islamic prinicples with modern mental health practice. His work often highlights the importance of understanding mental health through an Islamic lens, addressing the well-being of the Muslim psyche in a balanced and comprehensive manner. His legacy continues to influence mental health professionals worldwide.
